An upper luxury development composed of G+2 hotel and branded residences buildings
The DGDA Ritz Carlton Hotel is located in Diriyah North District of Diriyah Gate in close proximity to the Art District. The hotel location connects the guests the Escarpment walk via Art Galleries, tracing the original historical walls with views out to the wadi and and towards the At-Turaif. The luxury hotel will aim to provide a relaxing stay and cultural heritage experience within a premium environment.
The project is comprised of 2 hotel buildings and 2 branded residences buildings. It includes Specialty Restaurants, an All-Day Dining Restaurant, pools/spa and gym. Landscape design includes hotel courtyard spaces, podium landscape, common pool areas and private terraces to hotel and serviced apartment units.
InSite developed the landscape elements in line with the Najdi Architecture theme. Apart from design coordination with architecture and engineering consultants, sustainability requirements such as shading and Client requirements for stargazing terraces influenced the landscape design and placement of shading structures. The landscape designed has also been fully integrated within the wider public realm to ensure an authentic design space.
The hotel buildings and landscape were tendered first while serviced apartments came as and addendum to tender package with the intent that all buildings will proceed into construction at the same time.
