InSite were engaged by Mirage to carry out the landscape design for The Address Jumeirah Gate Hotel under lead consultant WSP and signature architects, Killa Design. The resort occupies a 3HA beach front plot at the very end of Jumeirah Beach Residences opposite Bluewaters Island and facing the new Dubai Wheel. The 310m high elliptical twin tower will be a definitive landmark consisting of 217 key five star hotel, 479 residential apartments as well as 496 serviced-branded apartments.

The landscape comprises of a series of cascading podium terraces leading towards the beach that create the fifth elevation to the resort, each of the terrace contain a mix of world class facilities including, swimming pools, play zones, events spaces and signature food and beverage outlets, all of which have been designed to become the iconic moments in the world hospitality stage.

To complete the building a roof deck at level 77 (+303m) has been created containing 
one of the world’s highest infinity swimming pools that stretches the length of the roof 
and is complemented by bar / restaurant with unprecedented views of the Dubai Wheel, 
Bluewaters Island, The Palm and Dubai Marina.

The entire project was completed in BIM requiring all of the landscape right down to the 
beach modelled to a high level of detail. The complex geometry, various level changes 
and detailed coordination requirements made this one of the most challenging and 
satisfying landscape BIM projects InSite had undertaken at the time it was completed.
