The Dubai Central Park is an excellent example of InSite’s skills in Placemaking. The park is developed to functionally serve the overall Dubai Hills Estate master plan. There are 3 distinct landscape themes in the park; Sheltered Oasis, Dunescape and Wadi, each offering a selection of activities, such as; sports and play areas, skate parks, splash play zones. These are complemented with sprawling open lawns for passive recreation, creating opportunities for events, markets and exhibitions.

 

The park has been designed to accommodate a system for overflow storm water in the event of a 1 in 50 year flood. The bordering architectural towers and built elements of the development emphasises the importance of providing a thriving green sanctuary.
